Via Real Audio, critics and music fans alike can sample any of her 14 tracks as well as read her bio, or the company’s, and find out where to buy the disc (online sales proved more of a challenge for the fulfillment end of things for the company and thus the e-commerce component was consequently removed). Also gratifying news such as the album hitting the Top 15 of the Tower Records’ music charts.

Beyond the JavaScript buttons and the Real Audio links (which also pop up a small window that gives a brief history of the origin of each song), I plotted the trajectory of an actual binary star and animated it for a little brand identification and fun.

Note: although it still has my name on it as the designer/producer, the label has been making their own changes here and there and so I can not vouch for all elements (such as blinking notices or edited JavaScript menu functions).

The site was a Finalist in the Entertainment category of the “Best of the Web 1997” awards held by the Singaporean ISP, Pacific Internet, and sponsored by Apple, Sun, Cisco and Ascend.
