The Nokia 3210 was the first phone to allow a consumer to change not just the front cover but the back as well. This was shown through the 3210 Demo page I designed. That system was specifically for flat color covers, but Nokia also created a range of stylistic, theme-oriented covers.

In order to showcase the subjects, we designed a series of Shockwave Flash passive, animated movies with punchy background sounds. These really emphasized the positioning Nokia and its ad agency, Bates, wanted to promote to consumers.
