The Nokia 3210 was the first phone to allow a consumer to change not just the front cover
but the back as well. This was shown through the 3210 Demo
page I designed. That system was specifically for flat color covers, but Nokia also created
a range of stylistic, theme-oriented covers. In order to showcase the subjects, we designed a series of Shockwave Flash passive, animated movies with punchy background sounds. These really emphasized the positioning Nokia and its ad agency, Bates, wanted to promote to consumers. Click on each name below to see the individual demo:
